Ms. Heindel recently joined Strategic Management in the winter of 2009. Since then, she has performed regulatory research and analysis tasks central to the development and evaluation of several hospital compliance programs, focusing specifically on AKS/Stark and HIPAA issues. She works closely with several hospital systems providing answers to general and specific research policy questions, as well as helping with the development, revision and implementation of hospital compliance policies and procedures. Additionally, Ms. Heindel works with the Strategic Management regulatory team updating and editing policy and procedure material central to the team’s product development. Finally, Ms. Heindel has helped develop educational material for clients outlining compliance program necessities and risk assessment goals.

PREVIOUS WORK

Ms. Heindel graduated from law school in the spring of 2009. During her time in school she worked conduction legal research for a law firm, as well as interning at a governmental administrative agency where she helped draft legal opinions and regulations.
